Your Privacy Choices

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and equivalent state privacy laws (Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Oregon, Texas, Delaware, and others), you have rights regarding the personal information we collect about you. This page is the central place to exercise those rights.

Plain summary: MoneySweep does not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or for any other purpose. There is nothing to opt out of, because we do not engage in those practices in the first place. The page below describes your rights anyway, because the law requires it and because we want our practices to be auditable.

What we collect, in plain English

For the marketing site (moneysweep.co and guide.moneysweep.co), we collect: first name, email, optional state, and basic technical metadata (IP address, browser, referrer URL) for fraud prevention and analytics. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Categories of personal information (CCPA terminology)

What we do not do

If our practices ever change in a way that would constitute "sale" or "sharing" under CCPA, we will notify you in advance and provide a clear opt-out method here before any such activity begins.

Your rights

1. Right to know

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, including categories, sources, purposes, and recipients.

2. Right to delete

You can request deletion of your personal information. We will honor it within 30 days, with limited exceptions (legal compliance, fraud prevention, completion of pending transactions).

3. Right to correct

You can request correction of inaccurate personal information.

4. Right to opt out of sale or sharing

You can opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not sell or share, this right is currently a no-op for MoneySweep, but you may still exercise it for record-keeping purposes if you wish.

5. Right to limit use of sensitive personal information

You can limit our use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive PI on this site, so this right is currently a no-op for MoneySweep.

6. Right to non-discrimination

We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level of service for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise your rights

Email privacy@moneysweep.co from the email address on file with the words "Privacy Request" in the subject line, and tell us which right you would like to exercise. We will:

If we cannot verify your identity from the email on file, we will ask for additional information. We do not require an account to honor a request, but verification is required by law.

Authorized agents

If you authorize someone else to make a request on your behalf, that person must provide written permission signed by you, and we may still ask you to verify identity directly.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a legitimate "opt out of sale/sharing" request for browsers that send it. Because we do not sell or share, the practical effect is recordkeeping only.

Notice for residents of other states

If you live in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Oregon, Texas, Delaware, Iowa, Tennessee, Indiana, Montana, or any other US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have rights substantially similar to California. Use the same email contact and we will treat your request under the relevant state law.

Notice for residents outside the United States

If you live in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with privacy law (Brazil LGPD, Canada PIPEDA), see the "Your rights" section of our Privacy Policy for the rights specific to your jurisdiction.
